How did you first find out about Frame of Mind Coaching?
I was looking for something that would help me get out of the hole I was stuck in when I heard Kim Ades speak on Leisa Peterson’s podcast. Kim spoke about how to change the thoughts we have that aren’t serving us anymore. She also prompted listeners to take the Frame of Mind Coaching Assessment.
I filled out part of the assessment, then stopped to go to work. Then I received a call from Kim asking why I didn’t finish it! We talked about me and FOM Coaching, and she connected me with Chari. I have never doubted that this was exactly what I needed.
What were you struggling with prior to coaching?
I was struggling with everything. I had tried many other coaching styles, read books and listened to podcasts. I knew what I should be doing, but it wasn’t working. I was deeply depressed. I didn’t feel like I could achieve anything and I didn’t see the point in trying.
How did coaching impact that?
Within a few weeks, I had changed! It just happened naturally as a result of coaching. All of a sudden, work was better and my relationships were better, not because they changed, but because I did.
How has coaching impacted how you show up at work?
My job is still hectic, but coaching showed me that when I control my attitude toward clients, they change too. Now, they’re actually nicer to me! I also know now that it doesn’t really matter what others think of me. What is most important is how I feel and think about myself. My inner critic is now silenced.
How has coaching impacted your relationships?
Before coaching, my relationship with my husband was struggling. During coaching, I remember him noticing, “you’re smiling!” Now, our relationship has never been better. We have a deep connection and everything feels right. He also has three children from a previous marriage, and now we’re in a great place together.
What was it like journaling every day?
Journaling like this was new to me, and initially I doubted that it could work. But I found that every time I journaled, I felt lighter. It helped me make better decisions and to see things from a different perspective.
How would you describe Chari as a coach?
I love Chari. She is very professional, intuitive, warm and caring. She always knew how to push me and support me.
Would you recommend FOM Coaching to others?
I would recommend FOM Coaching to every single person in the world! I wish everyone would do it. It is the only coaching program that allowed me to change for the better in the long-term.
